M Series is specified to perform in every situation. From its extensive support for wireless and wired sound sources to its innovative acoustic technologies and integrated amplification, M Series delivers an affordable high-resolution audio experience like no other.

High-resolution wireless stereo experience Each M Series model features extensive wired and wireless connectivity options. Bluetooth® 5.0 with aptX™ HD and aptX™ Low Latency codec compatibility guarantees both an ultra-stable wireless connection to your smartphone or tablet and favourite music streaming service, and 24bit/48kHz high-resolution audio quality from any compatible device. Connect your M Series to a computer via USB and 24bit/192kHz studio-quality sound can be yours. And there are more than enough inputs to allow your TV, set-top box, games console, turntable (with appropriate pre-amp), CD player, network streamer or anything else that takes your fancy to join in the high-resolution stereo experience. And just in case you really want to shake the room, there’s a pre-out for a subwoofer too.

M SERIES Like every Q Acoustics speaker, the M Series is designed to deliver class-leading sound. Whether listening to music, gaming, or watching movies or TV, M Series is always a low-distortion, high-quality listen. M20 features 64 watts of digital amplification, driving a decoupled 22mm tweeter and 125mm mid/bass driver for crisp highs and deep, textured lows. The M40, meanwhile, has 200 watts of power and features the C3 Continuous Curved Cone™ mid/bass first driver design introduced in the award-winning 5000 Series of loudspeakers. This ensures smooth integration with its accompanying tweeter and deep, controlled bass response. Both models feature a rear-firing bass reflex port in each speaker to provide low-frequency reinforcement. And both models offer nuanced, balanced and immersive sound quality every time.

C3 Continuous Curved ConeTM

A genuine advancement in elements of mid/bass driver design and first introduced in the 5000 series, the M40* benefits from our new C3 Continuous Curved Cone™ profile. The result of extensive research and expert engineering, it combines the bass performance benefits of a traditional straight conic cone with the high/mid-range frequency control of a flared cone. By creating a single, smooth, continuous curve profile, the advantages are manifold. Firstly, its excellent dispersion, alongside its well-controlled frequency response, enables smoother integration with the tweeter. Deep bass dynamics are also superior, with this and tighter, damped low-end sound allowing more flexibility in placement of speakers near the wall boundaries of the listening room. Harmonic distortion is also reduced, ensuring the M40 delivers a sonic performance and wide soundstage that belies its ranking. The C3 Continuous Curved Cone™ profile has successfully addressed shortcomings in one of the basic geometrical elements of drive unit design to deliver the best characteristics of both straight and flared cones
